A Dependable Defense Against Speeding Tickets and Traffic Violations in North Texas

In every traffic or speeding ticket, you can count that I will take a strategic approach to effectively resolving your case. There are many instances where a Prayer for Judgment Continued (PJC) may be an appropriate result. In a PJC, you will acknowledge guilt for the specific crime or infraction you have been charged with. Although the charge will be present on your record, you will not be charged with either DMV or insurance points, and you will not have to pay a fine.

A PJC is not right in every instance and must be used sparingly. For instance, a driver can only request one PJC over a three year period for insurance point purposes, and only two PJCs are allowed over a five year period for DMV point purposes. Therefore, if you have already obtained a PJC on a relatively minor charge, you may not be able to get another PJC if you are later accused of a more serious traffic offense.
